The Arrival of Magenta, 2021

A color-space-construction built of a 20×7.5 meter, 60×22.5 feet large painting in ink on 48 OSB boards. The color material, its consistence and technique of application defines, layer by layer, the painting and further more its cutouts and finally the architectural construction. The cutout was installed in Mai of 2021 as a 3-dimensional fold into the facade of the Robotron-Kantine in Dresden.

This Installation follows Haupts works such as “Kampf und Liebe der Magenta” 2004, Berlin, “The Return of Magenta” 2012 and “The Journey of Magenta” 2017, both Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA.
